MONITORING YOUR PV ARRAY

How to monitor your PV array without internet service onsite:

The System Owner/Site Manager can monitor the PV array through the Fronius Solar.Web platform using cell phone data, rather than having the added expense of installing internet service onsite.

Requirements:

  1. The inverter bank must be set up for the online monitoring system.
  2. In order order to allow the master inverter to connect to the internet, a cell phone with the "personal hotspot" feature must be enabled so that the online platform can be updated with the stored data from the inverter data logger.
  3. An onsite meeting with one team member from SOLAR FX and the System Owner/Site Manager to set up the initial connection to the cell phone. SOLAR FX will demonstrate on how to update the system data to the online platform.
